| A large piece of iron weighing 6 tons fell on the bottom of the patient’s feet, and he was immediately transferred to Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Ramkumar Susarla – Consultant plastic surgeon alongside Dr. Maged Abu Bakr Ahmed – specialist Orthopedic surgeon met him and decided on two stages of surgery. Fixing the heel bone, and fixing fractures in the foot and ankle, then restoring and fixing the Achilles tendon in place with metal screws and wires.
